A player may complete a card counting for handicap at any course.
To do a general play score the player must:-
Follow the Rules of Golf :- The ball must be holed at every hole unless a score of more than a net double bogey is to be achieved. All holes must be played in the correct order.
Play with at least one other person who can attest to the score – this doesn’t necessarily need to be another club member but has to be someone acceptable to the club where the score is being recorded.
Play on a course with a current Course and Slope Rating – check the appropriate tees to use prior to play.
Procedure
At whichever course the player intends to do a general play score the player must comply with the following :-
After the round the score must be submitted by using the Scottish Golf or by returning the details to your home club.
If using the Scottish Golf App.
The player must register on the app before playing
All hole by hole scores must be entered onto the App. This can be done during or after the round.
The score can then be submitted.
It is not a requirement to use the app – a physical scorecard can be completed and returned to your home club where the details can be entered.
