COMPETITION SCORES

As members will know the first competition, the Spring Meeting, will be held on Saturday 1 August.  Currently the field is full so if anyone wishes to be placed on a waiting list please contact the office.

When competitions do re-start, special procedures will be in place regarding the recording and returning of scores.  Exchanging and returning of physical scorecards is not allowed.  Scottish Golf has produced guidelines as to what must be done.  Full details of what will be required will be issued at the beginning of next week but the basics are:-

  • Players will record their own score during the round.
  • Playing partner / marker will have to confirm scores are correct during and at the end of the round.
  • Scores will be returned:-
    • By entering details online via the website.
    • By scanning and emailing card/scores to the office.
    • By calling the office to give scores manually.
  • At no time should any scorecards be returned to the office.

Similar procedures will be put in place for supplementary scores however these are not possible at present as the tees are not positioned correctly for a measured course.
