Covid 19 Update – Changes to Clubhouse and Course guidance

We thank you for your continued patience, and support as we navigate our way through the regulations and guidance and I am sure you all appreciate that it is at the forefront of our attention that all members, guests, visitors and staff are kept safe and in good health.

Following the First Minister’s latest announcement and guidance received from Scottish Golf, we are pleased to make some further changes to our operating procedures which continue the move back to normality.

It is each individual Member’s responsibility to adhere to these guidelines.

The following changes will come into effect on Saturday 24th July 2021: –

LOCKER ROOMS & SHOWERS

  • The locker rooms, including showers, will be open and available for use.
  • A maximum of 4 persons permitted in the shower area along with a maximum of 8 people in the locker room.
  • Please bring your own towels as Club towels will not be available.
  • You are required to wear face coverings whilst moving around inside the locker room, and at all times should maintain 1 metre social distancing.

DRESS CODE

  • The dress code relaxation will cease.
  • Jacket and Tie must be worn in the Smoke Room & Dining Room from 9.45am.

SMOKE ROOM/DINING ROOM

  • Up to 10 people from 4 households can now be seated in an indoor public place.
  • Table service will remain in operation.
  • You are still required to wear face coverings whilst moving around the Clubhouse and at all times members should maintain 1 metre social distancing.
  • All members are reminded of the requirement to book for lunch in advance.

DIRTY BAR

  • The casual dirty bar will re-open with a maximum of 4 persons allowed in at one time. At all times members should maintain 1 metre social distancing whilst using this area.

OUTSIDE AREA

  • Drinks can be ordered from the Dirty Bar for consumption outside.The drinks will be served to you by a member of staff.

GOLF

  • Tee times at 10-minute intervals from the 1st tee will remain in place.All names should be entered on the online booking in order to comply with track and trace regulations.

COURSE

  • All golf course furniture will be returned for use.
  • The water fountain will be available for use shortly and we ask that this is used to refill personal bottles. We ask all members to refrain from face-to-tap drinking.

BUGGIES

  • The restriction on one person per buggy will be lifted and the sharing of buggies brought back.

PAYMENT OF ACCOUNTS

  • Charges will be applied to Members’ accounts in the normal way. You can now pay at the Bar provided safe distancing can be maintained.
